Hi guys im new to the forum and sorry for double posting this i accidently posted it in the new owner forum. ill be buyin a z in the near future looking at a few i will be getting a roadster love the look and open feel. im torn on what to get i found 3 options that im test driving this weekend.
1. 2007 roadster GT, 6.2kmiles, A/T
2. 2006 roadster GT, 35kmiles (body), M/T (had oil consumption problem new engine from nissan has 4k miles)
or a 2007 roadster GT with 13k miles M/T but is like 5 grand more
they are all grey with the orange vented seats
also what color do you guys like on your Z?

IMO on color... the two best colors are black and white. If you have the roadster you will want the ventilated seats and considering I have never seen a white roadster with the orange ventilated seats... black. BUT my opinion is biased.
For $5k you can certainly add some Horse Power. When I look for a car I go for never wrecked, low miles, clean, and as new as I can afford. In that order
Here is mine in blk. also burnt orange interior.

Its easy to say, get the latest and greatest, but budgets often dictates what one should ultimately buy. I'd try to take into consideration the mods if any, you plan on adding. The 5k difference could be sways, rims + tires, exhaust, springs, etc. The 5k could also be a used FI setup. Think about what you ultimately want from the car and then choose accordingly.

Good luck on the new Z but for future reference there's no need to start the same thread in 2 different places....

I would def go with the HR motor. The higher rev limit is a joy. I used to know in my old S2K taking it 9K. I have 04 ZR and it really took some getting used to shifting so early lol. I got to drive a friends 08 Z. I could really tell a difference and the added rpm on the limit although small really makes a difference.
