Just picked up an 03 350z perf edition, love it so far. Loaded to the teeth and fast as f*$& (coming from an i4 tiburon). I'll post some pics up in a bit.

is there anything i should watch out for on the 03's? when im sitting idling, the z makes a strange clunking noise. any ideas?

A lot of problems with the '03 models. Do some search around the forums.

perhaps the typical clutch/flywheel chatter is what you're hearing. if so, thats normal.

Did you do any research prior to purchasing the vehicle? I'm assuming you didn't take it to a mechanic before purchasing either...

I'm curious as well. I am surprised a dealership would offer much of a warranty on a 6 year old sports car.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear that your car might have a bit of a problem already.

What do you mean by clunking noise, where is it coming from? And do you mean when the car is completely still, say at traffic lights?
