hey guys i just bought my car about 4 days ago . It has 18000 on the motor and 3000 on the, clutch , engine, and the tranyy. i bought it with a light jwt flywheel clutch combo . people tell me thats why it sounds like im draging a shovel behind my car can any1 tell me if thats normal, it goes away after 2000 rpms . also im buying the aps plenum from the guy who sold me the car for 350 $ , its used. is that a good deal? . I also just bought a popcharger. i was just wondering what else should i add on before i get it tuned on a dyno .

I would just get a kinetix v+ plenum for 200 used it does the job great i had one.. save the money.. Clutch and flywheel chatter is normal for heavy duty clutches and lightweight flywheel so get useto it.. Your going to need a reflash or an ecu because i don't believe stock ecus can be tuned .. enjoy your Z

 

yea its custom . toyota makes that color for there supras.Its metallic in the sun and flat in the dark . the guy said he would install it for free if i bought it . 350 isnt that much , it costs like 500 without installation if i was to buy it myself

 

You don't need it i would save your money or spend it on a motordyne spacer and mrev lower collector.

 

i thought if u dont have a rev up motor u cant use the mrev . why do you say you dont need it the aps plenum outperforms any plenum out on the market

 

if you have revup you need the lower collector + spacer.

 

if that dragging a shovel noise , is similar to the "cement truck" tranny noise, then yes it normal haha

take off that pop charger and put back in your 06 intake. then buy a k&n drop in filter if you want the most power
