hey guys so i recently bought my 03 350z i traded in my big turbo srt4. im really lovin the car and love how everywhere i go people stare at it. I started reading through the whole new owners thread but had a couple other questions what do you want your oil pressure to be at and also volts another thing i had a radar detector just hooked into the ciggy lighter of the srt but now thats behind me so i dont want to be strechin a cord I searched and found a couple things but its a cobra any other way to wire it up? I got to know my srt motor very well and this is a bit different but im looking forward to it.

Unfortunetly the 03 z's dont come with the extra 12v hook up like all the other years. Everyone else has one right under the passanger cup holder in the lower part of the dash.

Take some pictures of the engine bay, looks like a good find


EDIT: oh and get those headlights blacked out.

dang so is there any other way to wire up a radar detector?
and ya headlights are getting redone i had vinyl on my srt so im going to do that again and i dont really like the rims either but its a good start

Welcome to the forum. Some of the earlier 350's had two lighter points, one in the centre behind the seats, and one firewall side of the passengers side footwell. Wonder if it's possible to wire up one in the front, possibly the cabling is there? Possibly not.
