Default Just bought a 06 Supercharged 350z!!

Just bought my first Z. It has a vortech supercharger, 6 piston baer brakes on each corner and a bunch of nismo suspension.

Here is the car

This car is really fast and am extremely happy to own it.

What the hell are you talking about? It looks perfectly fine for a 4 year old Z.

Z above with 30,000 miles.

Z above with 54,000 miles. Which would you say has been well cared for?

Umm, I hate to tell you this...but the peeling problem is insanely widespread on our 06+ cars. I am the most careful person with my car, and even I have this issue. It's not a fault of the owner, it's Nissan's crappy materials.

Yeah, interior actually looks pretty good, I have an 08 and notice some scratches on the rubber pieces.

Although, on one pic, looks like a little pee stain on the driver's seat, did someone get a little too excited? lol

OK I remember problems with the 2006 interior. The "black" chips off with the slightest scratch. Assume that 2004 (above) is more durable.

Lol I saw that to in the pic. When I went to see it it wasnt there though.

I traded in the red GS400 on the site.

I was also wondering if it was the standard vortech tune or if it was tuned at a shop. Is there anyway to tell if its the vortech tune? The original owner is a weatherman in LA so im thinking of trying to find his email and asking him for some more info on the car.

Black and Frost interiors do this. Your old 2004 had just a piece of plastic there. When they made the interior nicer for 06+, they changed the piece and added a softer layer on it too for a smoother finish. Unfortunately, that finish chips and peels like crazy.

They showed off that bald tire like it was a feature or something lol. I really hope you had that motor checked out compression test etc. If you didnt hope you have another car and $ set aside to rectify any problems.

"All NISMO products were used on the rest of the car. Nismo stainless steel exhaust, coil overs, 18" forged mono block wheels, and front/rear sway bars. The breaking system has also been upgraded to the extremely desired baer 6s calipers along with cross drilled rotors."

So does this system prevent the car from breaking?
