Huge Z nut w/ my first new Zcar!
Hey guy'z,
Been a Zcar nut for 15+ years, since I got out of the military. My first Z was a 76' 280Z, and I've had several since then. Still have my first Zcar, and will never sell her. It's been through 2 overhauls ( alway's upgrading of course ) and now its on its way to a custom SC'd project I've been working on for about 3yrs.
Well, I've alway's talked about getting a new Z, and my wife blew me away for our anniversary, and found me a 05' 350z with 35K on the clock, and yellow to match my old Z. As you can guess, I just about crapped my pants!
I've had it for about 2 weeks, and just completed my first mods... Kinetix V+ Intake Plenum, JWT Popcharger, short shifter kit, and APS Oil pan... Took it for a spin today, and love the difference. Throttle response is much improved, and it does pull harder under hard excell, especially mid RPM's.
Next on my list... Highflow cats, and then the Vortech V-3 SC Kit.... OH!!, Cant wait!
Anyway, wanted to say hello, and I do plan on spending some time searching all the great threads here.
*having issues with my internet provider. As soon as I get the bugs worked out, I'll post some pictures.

Happy anniversary! Your wife is a keeper! And both beautiful cars - congrats... Only thing to be wary of is that the Kinetix has a bad rap for cracking under boost so don't try to boost that car with that plenum.
