Advice in buying a 03 Blue 350Z with 50k and bad syncrhos..
Hey guys.. id like ure advice..
i found an 03 350z with 50k in that sweet blue color scheme for 9.5k... has exhasut and intake.. it looks to be the base base model.. no bose no leather..
it needs to have the synchros replaced as its got the infamous grind.. apparently my uncle did on an 04 with the 5th gear syncrho and the car is fine now..
so for about 10k is it worth to buy an 03 with 50k... clean title with one prior accident at about 25k.. hes willing to go to 9.5 but i might offer him 9k cash..
what do u guys think.. anything else i should worry about? -thanks

i think it was recall or something along that line...
I had mine done last year and with more miles ~70,000. Don't know if yours will fall in it. Just get the VIN and swing by the dealership. They warrantied mine for the synchro;s
Also next time your around the car put it in neutral and let it run and listen for a grinding sound with the clutch engaged (not pushed in). If so it's a bearing in the tranni. I got the second one warrantied for that.
