hey there my names Anthony, im deployed in iraq at the moment and am looking forward to purchasing my Z, ive already decided to go with a twin turbo set up, this will be my first forced induction build & would like to kno what and if any modifications i will need to do to the stock block.. pistons rods ect; any ifo u guys can give me that would make this build faster an more effortless would be hella appreciated and am looking forward to swap meets that are in the future, cause im head over heals in love with the Z and have been a through my fair share of 240s and it is now time to step up my game and show alil class while smoking some domestics any chance i can get/// check out youtube video 350z vs lambo lol... love it dude spends 200 thou on his car and gets his *** handed to him a couple times lol.. anyway looking forward to meeting you guys .. from IRAQ > peace out and i got your back over here !! kicking *** and taking names later

i was planning on the greddy twin setup// i was thinking around 415 /420hp ..i plan on having this my daily driver and dnt mind spending the money.. cars are really what i surround my life with.. and im making pretty good money here in IRAQ for the time being <lol

You should be fine stock block if those are your goals

 

cool i should exspect normal wear n tear then? and in the future what hp should i be looking into for block upgrades\\ bc i imagine once i start, i wont be able to stop myself lol.. yakno small upgrades here and there as the tunner scene is always getting better and better..

 

Yes if you want more I'd just get a stage 1 short block from any of the shops that offer them after that I'd not want to DD it in my opinion

 

true yea your right .. i might aswell start another project after reaching my goal bc i just was the z to be fast and look good aswell .. not that they dnt look sexy as they are.. do you guys that are on here hold events and such .. bc i also would like to get into a club and attend events that you guys might hold and what not !!

Depending where you live you can look at your areas threads this will help with clubs/ meets

 

Get your car and setup then do the install ....watch making threads like theses you will get flamed

He's saying that a lot of people come to this forum and start saying they want to twin turbo this and supercharge that, when they dont have the car yet. Flamed=saying something totally open ended and getting insulted to the point you get mad at your computer for showing you such hateful words.

I know exactly what you are looking for, as I am in the Navy, and Ive never been to Iraq, but a crappy deployment to the North Arabian Gulf will weaken even the strongest mind. You need something to look forward to and remember what you are defending. I did the same exact thing as you--minus put myself out on the forum.

What you need to do: Read through this site, everything has been done to a Z, and in most cases, what you want to do has a do it yourself on it and how you can do it for hundreds less than what you were planning on spending. Use the search function, think before you post and enjoy this forum. It can be childish at times, but if you silently observe, then speak-you will be ok.


Oh yea, and if you can afford it (i know deployments=bank)go with a 07-08s as they have a more powerful engine from the factory.
