Default Hey!

I'm a new 350z owner (and no, I'm not a teenager ), but Z's have been in my life since I was born (My mom had and STILL has her Datsun 260z). I've been a lurker for a while... but today my forum issues (a login thing) got fixed up so I finally decided to start posting. I've gotten good at using the search function in that time, so no worries.

My personal ride is an '08 350z, red, Grand Touring, standard. It's all stock, for now, but I've got my eye on a few things so we'll see how that goes.

So there we go... my introduction.

I'll try my best. It's all about personal taste. Here's some starter pics...

Keep it clean. Seriously though... I'm not sure exactly what my plans are yet. I'm toying with:
  • Adding a front lip, it's on the short list I'm pretty sure. There are so many to choose from that I get frustrated on which fit the 07-09's with good fitment and quality.
  • If I get daring I may swap out all the LED's in the instrument panels and gauges (awesome writeup in here about that).
  • I'm also toying with a different spoiler and possible hood (which, again, I struggle with knowing which fit the 07-09's with good fitment and quality). As much as I'd hoped my red Z would stand out around here on it's own (I'd mostly seen Silver), someone must have brought a whole shipment in! Though mine's the only Grand Touring with the stock Brembo's and staggered rims, I've seen at least 2 other red Z's around town recently.
  • A second set of cheap rims for snow tires and/or throwing some super-cheap skins for when I want to get stupid on some non-public tarmac.
  • Maybe a short-throw shifter.
  • Perhaps some sways (if I can find a good place to track the car around here).
  • Once she's got some decent miles on her way down the road I'll breath some new life into her with a supercharger or TT kit.

Ideas are still rolling around and nothing's set in stone. The lip is the first on the list... and as much searching as I've done I still struggle with this. Especially since I'm not sure if I want to go with a kit that includes side skirts, I want one that looks good with the stock setup, but stands out as well.

This is my favorite combo out of any Z right here. Color, trim, trans, year. Good luck with her!

Welcome, car looks clean. I really like the veilside v1 front lip, if that helps your decision. And the z's were only up to 08, 09's and above are only roadster :]

I know. Which is why I usually said 07-09's... since they all had the HR motor. All the same, thanks for the advice!
