Default New Z owner, Checking in!

Hey all,

New to the boards and stopping in to give the obligitory newbie post and post up a picture of my new 2004 Z. Had the car for about a week and have been by the site quite a few times to get info, and figured I should sign up. I'm new to the Nissan world, but have been all over board as far as other makes.

1996 Turbo Civic
1991 Integra
1991 S-10
1987 Subaru GL
1973 Chevy K20 4x4
2000 Mazda protege

Just to name a few. The Z is a big upgrade over any of the others, although not quite as quick as my Civic was. Leaps and bounds ahead in the mature factor though, haha.

As far as performance goes, the Z has a test pipes, cat-back, Injen intake, and Yokohama Advan tires, with the 6 speed. Still haven't checked if it has a plenum spacer, but if not, it will be the next thing on the list. Then reflash, then done with mods!

Hope my time here is as good as other forums I've been on.

Sorry for the poor quality picture, as it's all I have. Going out this next weekend to get some good shots!

Welcome and congrats. You also have newer wheels. Those came from a newer Z like an 07 or 08, IIRC.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if that was part of a certain package in 04, or they had been taken form a later model. The previous owner has done some nice stuff to the car. Just hope he took care of it as good as he has upgraded it!

No, haven't had the time to look since I've bought it. On my next few days off I'm gonna slide under and see If I can indentify them. Hope they are brand name, and not some custom hack-job from a local shop. I'm thinking it's something good because it sounds good, and the prev owner seems to have invested in everything else done to the car.

And yes Frosty, the wheels are the base 370 wheels. Did a quick google image search and verified it. Same stock tires as the 370. Another perk!

Good luck with that. Be careful under there.

Damn, I haven't looked at pics of stock wheels in so long that I failed this one. Sorry.

Welcome and congratulations. Considering the offset of 370Z wheels, I did not know that they would fit. Very clean.
