Default 03 black z!

just got a 2003 black 350z. I wanna get into some basic mods right away and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions about short ram intakes, single or dual exhaust, or wheels that might look good with my car

IMO I think your best bet is to stay stock with the intake. The stock exhaust is pretty well tuned and is actually a single exhaust, a lot of people upgrade to the Nismo exhaust for a little louder noise. As for wheels, 19" Volks tend to the be the best choice (obviously nothing in chrome and if you have the $$$ for them). Some members on the forum also upgrade to oem nismo or oem GT Volk wheels.

Great intake, just make sure you install the heat shields. Short rams like the JWT work fine on the Z, better when tuned, and a heat shield is as must. JWT comes with the heat shield.

yeah i did some research on JWT and they seem to be the best choice, pretty good prices too, so im probably gonna order one tonight

I was talking to a friend today about exhaust systems for the z and after some youtube browsing single exhausts sound a lot better for my taste. anybody know of any big drawbacks of a single exhausts?

Volks are so very very sexy, especially the te37's. But they are just so pricy. a friend recommended xxr 521's but im not sure about those so im still browsing around
