Newbie!!

Hey everyone! Im a new Z owner as of two weeks ago. I suprised my GF with an 04 Convertable that I recently aquired for what I think was a fair price. It is in extremely good shape mechanically but has a ferw minor problems that I hope in time with the help from this forum , those problems will difuse into productive .....things lol. i've already used this site to fix a couple of nick nack problems but was so happy I wanted to join. I have a plethra of fun cars including an 07 Acura TL and an 03 Mustang GT with plenty of mods and counting. Hope to see and hear from you guys and I'm really interested in upgrading the xenon bulbs if anybody wants to throw a dog a bone!! Thanks guys for having me!
Welcome and congratulations. Wrong section by the way - but a mod should move it.

Shakuy.... I'm liking your style.... I'll get some up in just a few.. Oh yeah do I get any bonus credit for being a previous Z owner? I turned 15 and my dad gave me an 86 2+2 in 1990. Right when (what I believe to be the best looking Z yet) the 1990 Z was released...
^^ Thats after the 6 hour clean up, clay bar and Zymol wax.. Looked brand new. There are still water spots in the clear coat. Btw if anybody knows how to get those spots out I'm all ears...
Hi 04CONV, I must say your girlfriend is a lucky girl. I also have a black 04 roadster. I bought it new in 03 and unlike assorted bosses, boyfriends and other lapses of judgment my Z has been drama free, trouble free and super reliable.
As you’re no doubt finding out, a black car shows every smudge, scuff and swirl. An appropriate nonabrasive polish is the black car owner’s best friend. Meguiar’s make a whole host of consumer grade all-purpose polishes, but they also package and sell their professional products in small containers for home use. For the kind of paint imperfections your dealing with, I use 'Meguiar’s #9 Mirror Glaze Swirl Remover'. It’s easy to use with hand application.
