Default Finally got my dream

So I'm about to turn 24 and was a sophmore in high school when the 350Z came out. I was in awe! Literally, that car did and still does give me a hard on. Last week I was joking around with some friends about how I should just got buy one because I didn't get into the program at school I was anticipating and it would be another year of income from my job. I started to look around and lo and behold, within a week I now have an 03 Touring Edition with Xenon and the Bose options sitting in my driveway. She's a beauty and is in mint condition sitting right at 80k driven by a 50+ year old woman since day one. I'm definetely happy with my purchase but have a few questions:

1. Suggestions on wheels. This is my daily driver that I'll be modding up over time, but I wanna keep it light, so I'm thinking 18's. Wheels and tires in the 2000 dollar range. I'm not going to lower it either.

2. Bose system-It hits pretty damn hard for stock, but I'd like a little more punch to the base. The high's and mid's are plenty for me, but is it possible to replace the 10" Bose sub with another one and just run an amp to it, or would it be possible for me to just get rid of the Bose head unit, replace with something else, and still keep all of the Bose components.

3. Other than wheels, I have no plans on modding the exterior except a lip, but I'm very interested in mods for the interior and the best sites to purchase them at. Mine is redline and I've already got an appointment to get red leather inserts custom upholstered into the stock seats. Would like some ideas on different mods to the interior to spice it up a bit. I'd like to put this in some amatuer car shows and bring home some trophies.

4. And last but not least, what is your all's opinion on JWT Pop charger or Full Cats. Kinda need to make up my mind on what I'm wanting to do to add a little HP. I'd like to be able to beat Mustang GTs stock and what not no problem.

Any help is much appreciated. Can't wait to be an active member on here. Thanks and hope to hear from ya soon.

Thanks everyone. I live in Oklahoma and if you've been watching the news, it's like Noah's Ark down here. It's been pouring rain since I bought the car so I haven't had the chance to even detail or wax it. As soon as I get that done, I'll post it up.

as far as the jwt popcharger...best bang for buck intake out there IMO...sounds amazing...been proven as far as gains...cant really go wrong with it....

Congrats

On wheels- buy used.... You will deffinately get more bang for your buck
Performance mods- YOU will not get MUCH!!! Honestly all NA mods are mostly just for sound, look, placebo effect..... NO bang for your buck! Save for turbo If you want a fast Z sure you might keep up with STOCK gt's but pshh FKN mustang has some minor bolt-ons and your going to eat horse crap all the time!! Lol
Audio- check the marketplace, you can get some good all in one systems, unless your **** about ur sound (like me ) then you should be happy with a simple setup

Figure out what you want out of your z
Looks
Speed
Sound

Put it in order, by the sound of it, I think you want look.... So spend money on coils/springs, wheels, and lip

Exhaust you can do a muffler delete for $100 at a local muffler shop and it sounds awsome for the meanwhile

GL bro, and like david said, SEARCH!!!!!! Please search!!!!

Lowering it is definetely an option, but nothing drastic. I used to have an Integra Type R that sat three inches off the ground and it was too much of a pain where I live. The roads here are terrible and it was too much work. Coilovers are out of the question because I still want a comfortable ride. Lowering springs are def something to consider, I'm just worried about them eating my tires up faster and damaging the comfort of the ride. I read somewhere that if you lowered more than 1.2 in the back and .8 in the front it would eat tire bad, but I've also been told that I can get correction arms for that. Is this true?

He was being sarcastic, relax guys lol

Hey op,
Search the forum, make sure your positive in what you want to do, you have a z so comfortable ride, was not the main thing on your decision of cars, "comfy" is over rated! Bc what can be comfy to me might not be to you IMO sportlines are the best springs for the z, gives you the best drop and feels great .... Other than that I would get coils.... Remember just bc you have coils doesn't mean you have to slam the car , if "comfy" is what you want then coils will be your best bet bc they are adjustable
Pretty much you can't go wrong with coils, camber kits to fix the wear, and wheels,

Know your priorities and don't try start another project unless your satisfied with the first one, if not then you end up like me doing a little hear and a little there and an overall NOT completed car you will never be happy, lol

Search op, but if looks is what you really want then I would just spend the money one lip,wheels,coils/sportlines(springs) , camber kits f&r, and ROLL your fenders... Lol

If you get good parts then there goes all your money as for sounds.... Like I said , unless ur ****, just go in the forum and buy a all in one, there's plenty of members selling there gear, or just get one sub to give you the extra umph

GL

Obviously comfort was not on my mind, speed and looks are. As far as the sound goes, I just wanted a little better bass without having to actually install an entire system.
