Just got an 04 350Z. Love her so far. I'm excited to make her my own, but I'm not sure what I want to do just yet. It's automatic, so I don't know how much sense it makes to me to do a ton of performance mods if I won't be taking her to the track.

I bought the car with some no-name cold air intake, and I just pre-ordered an aerosync bumper from Gruppe-S. Wheels are in the works, but I'm thinking Rota Torque in Sport Bronze (no sense in flaming me for going with Rotas...I've already thought long and hard about it).

But so far the Z has been stealing most of my attention from the other love of my life...my 09 CBR600rr Phoenix.

Very nice. Welcome and congrats!

All great pics. Especially Like the great match of your riding gear and bike in that one pic. You have any action shots?

haha nah you have to buy those from the photographers at the track! I'll get some up eventually. When I was buying the car I was torn between the Z and a blue G35. I ended up going with the Z mainly because its PPW and my bike is also Pearl White. They look nice together in the driveway :P

You thinking about tracking the Z too, or is the bike enough to keep you busy?

I'm honestly not sure what I want to do with the Z just yet. Once you ride a bike that hard nothing really compares to it. I know the car could be fun too, but it would still pale in comparison. I think I'll just plan on tastefully moding my car for some sexy daily driving. Plus as an automatic I don't think it would be as fun on the track. But hey...I could be wrong.

Nice intro! If you want quicker shifts you could always get a valve body upgrade, or buy my tranny/sales pitch

Thanks for the warm welcome. I hate to admit I was skeptical. I browsed this forum for a few weeks before I joined. Seemed like there was an awful lot of hate getting thrown around. I'm new to the car scene, but I sure didn't want to be flamed for it!

For now my plans with the Z are to get the aerosync bumper on, smoke my front reflectors, black my headlight housing (Can anyone point me to a DIY thread on this?) and possibly get some lowering springs. The wheels will have to wait until after I move in a few months. Thinking about a test pipe too. Any suggestions? I just love the way the car already sounds. I don't really want to change it; just make it a bit louder.

Try the automatic on the track, you could be surprised.
