Default Finally...I've got a Z!

Let me start off by saying that I've been a huge fan of the Z ever since the 2001 concept! For that matter, I've always liked the look of the older Z's as well even though I didn't know what they were when I was younger. I have been driving a Miata for the past 9+ years but the opportunity presented itself to purchase a Z and I am now a proud owner of a black 2007 Enthusiast with under 36,500 miles. The car is in overall very good condition but I did notice a quarter sized ding on the hood, the requisite paint swirls on most black cars and the black driver's armrest seems to have flaked off in some places. Also, I have to surrender the car for a few days tomorrow to have the door repainted because some of the clear coat came off when the dealer took off the sign they had on the side of the car.

I ended up opting for the 5 year, 100,000 mile wrap coverage that they offered me since they said that it covers "almost everything" and only has a $50 deductible. We'll see what "almost everything" means when I get the info on it and read the fine-print! I purchased the car last Thursday (10/6) so I've had a few days to get to know it and so far I'm ecstatic. There are a few mods that are immediately noticeable including intake, exhaust, window tinting and a Pioneer AVIC-Z2 Nav/multimedia system. I'll be taking a close look at the intake, exhaust and suspension once I get the car back from having the door fixed. Hopefully, if it's not obvious, the forum members here will help me discern what mods were actually done to the car. The car is in serious need of a detail so I'll post pics after the door gets fixed and the car has been cleaned up.

I'm very happy to be here and extremely excited to finally be a part of the Z community!!

Edit: I just handed it in to get the paint fixed but here are some pics from the dealer's website:

Pics from the dealer added. Does anyone have any tips for fixing the paint/finish on the armrest? The dealer did something to it that fixed it long enough for me to buy the car but it's now nearly as bad as the picture...lol.

Congrats. I have an 08 same color. I still love it as much or more than when I just got it. And yeah, The plastics in the interior scratch off easily. Got to keep an eye on girls with high heels. Make sure to compliment their shoes before you tell them to watch their feet lol

Welcome!

I dropped it off at the dealer yesterday morning and they gave me a 2012 Altima 2.5 to drive and still not having the Z is killing me...lol. Hopefully, they have it done tomorrow like they quoted me instead of next week!

Ohh that thing is already pretty modded, lucky you!

From what I can tell, you have the following:

-X02 exhaust or HKS (can't tell from this angle)
-Dual intakes, maybe Stillen (can't tell)
-Aftermarket head unit
-Shorty antenna
-Full tint
-Lowering springs
-Black headlight eye lids

Thanks Waizzz! The intake says Fujita F5 and I took a quick look at the exhaust and didn't see any markings. I'll be taking some pictures of everything now that I have it back. Stay tuned for a post tomorrow with new pics.

Oh yeah, the eyelid things weren't in the best shape so I removed them tonight. Does anyone know if it's safe to use Goof Off for plastics on the headlights?
