Default Just bought!

I don't have any pics yet, nor should I since I have to fix the few door dings that it has before I post, but I just bought a 2003 Touring black (not sure which black yet) manual tranny. Anyways I have a few questions.

1) There are two little black shock absorbers, I guess that's what they are, underneath the rear hatch. I'm not talking about the shocks themselves, but the other piece with the plastic accordion cover over it. The one on the passenger side is bent at a slight angle. I assume it's supposed to be straight like the other one.

2) My oil pressure is pegged at 120+ all the time. From what I have read this is either a bad oil sensor or bad filter messing with the sensor. I will do an oil change this weekend to see if it affects it any.

3) Is there any shocks that I can buy for the back hatch that I don't have to grind pieces or modify anything? I just want to unbolt these crappy ones (already been hit in the head) and bolt on new ones.

4) What's so great about the s2k antenna other than it's lower profile?

5) Is the JWT popcharger just a shield or is it any entire intake?

There is nothing special about an s2k antenna, it's just looks better IMO than the flag pole of a stock antenna.

The JWT popcharger is a full short ram intake...

I'm not sure about the shock absorbers underneath, but as for the rear hatch, my OEM ones work great still. It might just be because your's are older so they may need to be replaced. Usually dealerships have them for about $45.... And as long as they're stock, you can just unsnap the old ones and put on new ones

Welcome and congrats.

S2k antenna, just makes the car look better.
JWT Popcharger uses the stock intake tube from what I understand.

There is only one black in 2003 - SuperBlack (SB)

1) There are two little black shock absorbers, I guess that's what they are, underneath the rear hatch. Correct, it should be straight.

2) My oil pressure is pegged at 120+ all the time. From what I have read this is either a bad oil sensor or bad filter messing with the sensor. I will do an oil change this weekend to see if it affects it any.
Keep us posted.

3) Is there any shocks that I can buy for the back hatch that I don't have to grind pieces or modify anything? I just want to unbolt these crappy ones (already been hit in the head) and bolt on new ones.
Yes, you have to replace them since they do wear out over time. Z1 sells them.

4) What's so great about the s2k antenna other than it's lower profile?
Nothing great about them. It's just personal preference.

5) Is the JWT popcharger just a shield or is it any entire intake?
It's a kit that includes the conical air filter, the metal heat shield, and a round clamp (so tired I can't think of the proper name) that holds it on to the stock intake tube.
