Default Back after not so long..

In early 2007, I originally purchased a 06 PPW Base 350z and loved every day of owning it. Didn't really do much as far as mods except a D3 (mainly for bluetooth and ipod -- not so much for navi). I sold the car after about 2 years because I hardly used it on weekends and couldn't justify having it sit throughout the winter.... and the insurance of course helped the decision to sell

Recently decided to purchase something that would serve the purpose of driving 10 miles a week, and still be fun... i looked at many different cars and ended up back with a Z... this time its a 03 silverstone that i got from another member on the forums... Here are the mods and a quick pic...

EDIT: 82k Miles -- Doubt I'll reach 90k in 3 years based on current driving

03 SILVERSTONE PERFORMANCE 6MT
+ Work Emotion XT7
+ Tanable Super Medalion Hyper Exhaust
+ Eclipse CD5000
+ D610 Door Pods
+ Eclipse Amps
+ Tymphany subwoofer
+ Nismo Titanium Shift ****
+ Shaved Mud Flaps
+ Clear Corners
+ JWT Popcharger (removed)

despite all the other options -- no other car in my price range quite matched up to the Z

not really much feathering on the tires and doesn't have the typical complaints with the transmission..

very happy to be back!

P.S. never had an appreciation for the clarity of music until i test drove this car... blew my mind!

03-06? sounds like OP is aware of the big differences but was looking for something cheaper jsut for fun.. 03 is certainly a year of our car that people will absolutley notice a difference with coming from a later model.

yeahh that was really the big thing -- wasn't a fan of that kind of spend on the 06 while it just sat there... also i guess i passed the magic age for insurance companies and surprisingly, the comprehensive costs the same on the Z as an 01 altima!! shocker

far as driving differences -- i havent really noticed much to be honest. i got the car on friday and we had the massive storm right after. ive only driven it about 50 miles so far. i was never a fan of aftermarket exhausts in comparison to the stock one that these cars come with... but i am in love with this exhaust.. a buddy has a 06 g35 and the difference really came true when going for a spin in his car.

im sure ill appreciate the VDC however.. i remember struggling with the 06 in winter at times... but then again, this was in the days when i thought i would make it across town in heavy snow

i must say i was a much bigger fan of the PPW, but maybe its just a matter of this color growing on me.

Turn off the VDC if you get stuck in snow/spinning in one spot.
Do turn it back on when the car starts moving though!
