Default New 350z owner!

hey guys! Just so stoke i pick up 03 350z 6 speed. Im really happy but a little concern. The car has 121xxx miles on it and i've been told that the motor wouldn't make it at 200k? Any feed backs on that? thanks!

Actually, the vq35 is rated FOR 200,000 miles by Nissan. Who ever told you that really has no clue what they're talking about. We have a few members here with mileage that's very close to and even over 200k running great. But a lot of it depends on how it was maintained.

There way more too. Check the mileage threads:

Welcome and congratulations. No worries -- the VQ motor is known to hold up with high mileage.

Don't stress,enjoy your car!
Nissan engines are bulletproof given proper care.
USE COMMON SENSE...
A recent poster mentioned buying a Z with similar miles as yours.
He PM me on some questions, said he was driving around revs to redline!
Not a good idea on a car with the miles &unknown maitenance records.
Just be careful.

Welcome newbie. Probably not question you can think of about your Z that hasn't already been answered many times over on this forum. Take time to have a good look around the forum.

research and check local sales. your better off meeting up with z members to see different drops in person.
