Could someone please tell me where to find the trim code that would be on the sticker inside the door seem? What is the code for the Touring, and what is it for the Grand Touring.

your car is a grand touring the rim brake package is optional. one look at your front fascia shows the truth... unless someone put a gt front fascia on it

looks to be just maybe a regular touring rlw1979777 no brembo's or rays wheels. Pretty sure if you look your vin number up on car fax up it will tell you your trim package not 100% sure on this though. Clean car none the less.

We had not picked it up from the dealer when I posted here. They had it listed as a Grand Touring. We took down that information and got more money knocked off before we picked it up. Although I thought were were getting a great deal based on KBB, we ended up doing alright on her regardless. I appreciate everyones input, seriously. The car is now mine, and yes its a Touring, not a Grand Touring.

You all helped me save over 2 grand. For that I thank you. When looking for a Z, I wanted a Touring, as I wanted the limited Slip, Leather Cruise and all. But as I have seen on cars.com it showed that the Rays rims were an option on the grand touring. So I had no reason to doubt the validity of a Grand Touring.

VIN will not show the actual trim on the Z. Best way to tell is by looking at the options. I had a stealership try to pull same **** on me with a '06 Touring. Like others already mentioned, Grand Touring has Brembo and Rays 18F 19R wheels that are NOT optional.
Here is some good info on each trims but for some reason the site won't let me post it

Very nice car!! Congratz!!
Unfortunately I've seen the Touring/Grand Touring confusion before. I'm glad you caught it.
Re. Oklahoma Z Clubs, check out www.okzcc.com . They have chapters in Tulsa and OKC.
Be sure to check into Branson Z Fest held the first week of June. There are some of the sweetest roads there you'll ever drive. www.bransonzfest.com gives details from the 2011 event. Hopefully, it will be updated soon.

Yeah even Nissan cant give you the model. Its a bit annoying when buying, but you have to be extra careful I guess.
Still a very pretty car, and if you are ok with the price for a touring, then no big loss to you, I'd imagine. Although, if you got it from a dealer (cant remember if you wrote that) you may have some recourse to recoup some cash back.
