Hey guys my names Andrew and I'm located in the Tampa Bay area FL. I've had this account for awhile now and decided to finally introduce myself, I'm 19 years old and drive a 08 350z base model. i know a lot of you must be saying "oh god another teenager with a new Z" I'm fortunate enough for my dad to have bought me this car when i was 17, i appreciate my car just as if i bought it. My 350z wasn't my first car, i had a 99 eclipse gs. i basically did everything i could do within my price range for what i was making working in a retirement home as a waiter. Exhaust, headers, intake, valve cover and so forth... i loved that car until the ECU blew......the first time......the second time......then the third time. over and over i had nothing but problems with the ECU short circuiting. the mitsubishi dealer basically had it hooked up to life support trying to figure out where the problem was, but as always nothing showed up on there computers. my parents realized that it wasn't a reliable car for getting to school and work. we looked around for a while and finally came about this 350 that i have now. I'm making as much payments i can afford right now with pre med in college and work. so far what i have done to my Z is Full Stance GR+ coil overs almost maxed out, kyowa 19x9.5R,19x9F, 245 in the rear and 225 in the front. Invidia test pipes, and right now working on a custom greddy single tip exhaust. and also some minor mods like white dome lights, dual Cf air ducts, 80k hids. well i was just stopping by to say whatsup to everyone finally. ![thumbup](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/biggthumpup.gif)

I know when i first got it i was so eager and tempted to do so much with it, but i kind of wish i would have put more money towards payments of the car.

'Cause if it were my kid and he totaled the car, he's still going to pay off his debt to me...

At least you weren't afraid to admit your dad bought it for you. As long as you end up paying it off through your dad, I don't see a problem with that. Makes me think a kid is more willing to drive safely if he knows he still owes money on it.

Yeah I had my fun time with the eclipse doing stupid stuff, yeah I think with me making the payments it makes me a lot more cautious of things even more than I was with my eclipse. Haha I'm sure I would have a very unpleasant bill sitting on my desk if i were to total it... *knock on wood*
