Default My recently purchased 2007 Z

Hey guys,

I just recently purchased a 2007 Z and so far I'm lovin it. There's some normal wear and tear on this car and I would like to know what kind of basic mods I can possibly do to it (exterior, interior, and performance) wise. Any advice and help will be appreciated.

Attached is a pic I took

I bought my 07 back in Oct 2010, couldnt be happier! I started mine with test pipes and tune (Osiris Uprev) personally, after the research I've done and depending on the route you plan on taking id open up the exhaust a bit, get rid of all the restrictive components. The HR's Intake design and headers are some of the best to come out of Nissan on these motors...so why mess with it?! I have a full exhaust (AAM test-pipes, AAM Y-pipe, and Agency Power single exit) it sounds mean as hell but is a bit loud for most! Iam leaving the Intake and Headers stock, I do have HKS drop in filters though Good Luck!

Congrats on the purchase! In your future posts make sure that you post in the correct category . Also, there is a search bar at the top of the forum, this is a good tool to do some research on your new car. Thread moved!

I agree with him the hr is prety close to perfect the intake headers n exhaust are one of the best for the car, but stillen gen3 intake does add more power n makes da engine sound nicer lol...i got that and true dual greddy ti-c exhaust i love it it sounds sooo nice agressive and clean, its not loud but its not quiet perfect sound level in my opinion...i wouldnt bother with switching da headers dats a EXPENSIVE mod for for lil power gain where its not worth it...lower the car get some nice rims n tires (dont go cheap on the tires!!!) tint it n call it a day...whitch wont happen cuz by then ull be bit by da mod bug a viciouse cycle

Writting a post on a iphone sucks!!! But congrats n enjoy it...make us z owners proud n dont rice it

I agree with others, the HR motor, intakes, headers are pretty damn good.Want a better sound, drop in some K&N'S or a pair of Popchargers.
Since you have a black car(one of my favorite colors on a Z),I'd add some carbon fiber stuff to the interior&exterior.

Also, I need to find a way to take care of this: Lots of normal wear and tear inside.

Nice Z. Congrats
Copy & paste the IMG links rather than the Direct links.

Don't get the popcharger. Keep the stock airbox or save up for an intake with a good heat shield (non-metal) or get a long tube cold air intake.

Need to fix these first. And then I'm thinking about going with this -

http://www.leeparts.com/nissan_350z/...ir_intake.html

Any suggestions or what brand I should look into? I was recommended Borla and/or Nizmo

Congrats!

As far as performance mods all you really need are test pipes, exhaust (cat back & y pipe) and an uprev mail-order tune. This is good for @ 30-40whp and a very fun car to drive

Ordered me a double din dvd player, back up camera, parking sensors, a 10in sub with a box, and 1000 watt amp. Will be buying the custom Z box (on my list). Idea is to slowly do the mods.

Next up is a spoiler!
