Default I finally have a fast car!

This morning I bought a 2008 Nogaro Red Enthusiast Coupe with 6 speed MT w/ 45k miles. Where I live, these things sell quick so I'm exceptionally lucky to have found one in my favorite color. They literally just listed it yesterday, and when I got to the dealership, people were swarming around it like vultures, but it's mine now thankfully and I'm picking it up Monday.

The Z is my first sports car and my fifth vehicle. My second car just out of high school was a 92 240sx which I learned manual on so I'm not a stranger to Nissan. However, I never thought it was that fast, so I ALMOST became a muscle car guy, bought an IROC-Z, learned how to work on cars, worked on it day and night, and the car never ever worked. So ended my muscle car era. Then I bought a truck...yeah, but I wanted to put a racing kart in the back of it. College became overwhelming, never went racing much and the more I drove the truck, bright red and manual, but still a truck, I began to forget about ever wanting to drive a sports car....then I started commuting to work, and realized how much I needed a sports car. I'm really happy I bought this Z, it fits me like a glove.

Are you saying I'll have difficulty in the winter with my Z?

Congrats!
Glad you were able to snap up your Z before others got there!
It looks like you found out something about a Z that other Z
owners know. Its a car that as soon as you open the door, get in
that seat,you feel completely comfortable.
Everything is right!
Be careful with all that added power !
Share with us your future plans.

Congrats on the purchase!

Don't worry about the winter time. Snow tires are a must, sand bags optional. Other than that, you'll be fine!

Welcome and congratulations.

The combination of your screen name and the title of your first post is too much.

Enjoy and be careful.

I don't think I uploaded the 240(superblack hatchback 5spd) but here's my IROC before I sold it:

It was a cheap project car and needed new shocks, suspension, brakes, the battery tray rusted out after that right front was hit previously, so I replaced the fender and sanded out the tray, I replaced the tranny twice, ugh I don't even want to think about it. I drove it for maybe 2 weeks total.

I'm from LI in Suffolk County. I might look for a car club some time. As for my plans, I needed a better daily driver but being so much into motorsports, I'd like to do track days eventually.

It's still under warranty, but I definitely want a better exhaust for it first.

I appreciate the help R350Zz33, but I like to keep my anonymity online. I mean no offense.

Anyway I appreciate the welcoming from everyone, this seems like a fun site.
