Default Picking up my 350Z today

This will be my 4th Z car so far. I have had 2-1973 240Zs, 1 1982 280ZX and now.....
Picking up a 2003, enthusiast model 350Z with 28,500 miles on it. The car is in great condition and I am getting it for only $10,500!!!!!!!
The tires are worn and it needs an alignment, easy stuff.
Although, 3rd gear syncro is going out. So I have a trannny repair coming up or find a 06-08 6spdM to replace it.
Can't wait. Have just 2 1/2 hours till I go get it.
My current 1973 240Z is now going to become a race car! A fitting end to such a great car!

Congrats! It's surprising to see such a low mileage car with tranny issues, my 03 has a hair under 85k on it and everything is working well so far. Great deal on the car though, that's a great catch.

Brings back memories when I had my Z delivered. I bought the car not even knowing how to drive a manual transmission. I remember rounding the corner as I sped home in my Sentra seeing the magnificent blue Z's profile just sitting in the driveway.

Sigh.

Alignment is complete and new Toyo Proxy 4s going on it Thursday. Saturday, a road trip with my hot GF to Seattle!
Nice way to break in a new Z car!
Will have to find a way to post some pics of the old Z and new Z sitting together before the 73 Z goes to become a race car.
The great thing about the 73......I get to race it also! SWEET!
Our team has been racing a 67 1/2 Datsun Roadster in Chumpcar racing.
So far we have 4 wins and a 3rd.
We feel the 73 Z might be a faster and better handling car than the Roadster.
