Default Picked up my 06 roadster yesterday!!!

Drove her home, top down, from Austin to Dallas.

I've had Zs before (240, 260 and 300), but it's been a long time.

Red is the only color for a roadster in my opinion.

Great Z!

You better get familiar with acid jake if you want any work down at a reasonable price from an experienced individual in DFW. I would recommend you get oil changes every 2 months if you are DD or around 2k miles. You will notice with Rev-up motors around 1.5k miles oil consumption starts and by 3k miles not much left. I use regular conventional oil and change it out every 2 months. With my driving habits I will change oil right when rate of oil consumption increases drastically with oil breaking down.

Thanks, all!

I imagine I'll drive her daily for a few weeks til the new wears off then not so much.

I have all the service and oil change records from the previous owner, so I'll check and see when the oil was last changed.

Is there an oil % indicator on the dash? (Sorry, I haven't studied the owner's manual yet!)

No oil %(like full etc)indicator.Since you have a 06,known for chronic oil use,
possible prev owner/owners had it fixed under warranty?

contact NNA (Nissan North America) and register with them your VIN number. that will update you in the system as the new owner - and thats only if the previous owner had it updated with them....if the previous owner was the first original owner the nissan dealership "should" have registered that original buyer/owner with NNA, but ever nissan i purchased new the dealership never did it...ive had to do it..

NNA- They should tell you what warranty work has been done and what is outstanding. Also ask them for all TSB (technical service bulletins) so that you know what may still be needed.

It's fun for sure! You need to come here for break again sometime so you can see it!
