Gettin' a 03' Z on Saturday...Advice!
So, first off, its an 03' with 71k miles 6 Speed manual, Only 2 owners, clean title, all maintence has been performed. Paying 15k for it here in Renton, Wa. Question is, I've heard of little quirks or issues here and there with these, anything I should have them inspect or check out prior to buying besides the usual stuff?
I agree, a little overpriced. I picked up my 03 touring for $12k canadian with 74k on it. Jew him down on the price a little
. As for the first upgrade id recommend a motordyne plenum spacer. Got one for mine, and you notice quite a difference in the bottom end, and is more consistent throughout acceleration. Just my

Are you asking for common problems with 03s you should look for. If so, check transmission. If its grinding in any gears it's probably going to need synchros in trans. They had axle clicks, window motor issues. Like others have said its over priced tho.

???The ad says 04 Z.Not 03.
Also, states OBO...can get it for less.
Noted this car does not have a 04 grille/bumper?
You do a Carfax?Possibly front end wreck?
Wheels also are not 04 OEM wheels.
Was the wrong Z used for the ad?

15k is way way too much for that car. Yes, it is clean, but it has a lot of aftermarket body work done to it. Also, like aforementioned, it has parts from the newer Z - check the history report!
Looks like an 06', and it wouldn't be the first time a "dealer" had no idea WTF they were selling. They call them track when they're base, etc. Look at the stamp inside the driver's door for year and VIN, run a carfax, and get a pre-purchase inspection.

considering its got the 03-05 headlights, i'd say its an 04, with the 06+ front end.
I paid 15k for my 04' touring over three years ago with 27k miles. Way too expensive and it looks like work has been done. Probably in an accident. Carfax might not even show it but listen to everyone else and run
Gotcha. Yeah, I think im gonna go with you guys on this one. Its so sick looking but im not trying to buy anything thats been messed up prior. Is that a Nismo kit? I mean you can tell theres aftermarket stuff done, but what is it exactly? Also, I was actually just asking that when i go and look at it, what (problems) should I look for? I heard something about clicking in the rear, anything else besides the everyday stuff? Also, yeah that was the wrong car i was talking about, this is the right one:

that silver one, nice and factory, but still too much. 12-13K is on the average to high side for that. as far as maintnence, check the front tires for uneven wear... close look at the windows for streaking/need for replacment motors.. rear diff bushing, make sure its still in tact.
