Just got back into a Z!
Hi Guys,
Gotta say going around this site im going to enjoy myself. I love it when people get know their cars. The guys at New Edge Cougar Owners are the same.
I got my 2004 350 z 6sp with 28k miles last week for $13K. I havent enjoyed the car yet since i will not be bringin her out until mid march. This would be my second Z, my first car was an 86 Z31(na), so i just cant wait to get this baby on the road.
Attached some pics of her(and her sister, The cougar[work in progress, hate those wheels])

Thanks guys, glad to sign up. It was steal, the person i bought it from no longer drove it and was moving long distance and didnt want to take it. So i pretty much got lucky.
Looking at some of the cars on here im split in so many directions. I definitely want the evo r "blitz-like" spoiler. debating on whether to do a lip kit. I also want to change the wheels, not to sure what i will be going with yet, but in time. Performance wise, probably basic bolt ons, JWT popcharger and exhaust, unsure of what direction to head in on exhaust though, will do my research. The Kinetix intake manifold looks interesting so i might be looking into that in the future. Suspension i'm not sure what would be a feasible in my area, roads seem to get worse daily, sway bars are probably first, well see.
Hell these are all ideas, until i actually take the car out for a nice spirited ride and see if i can handle her well, then i will make motions to do upgrades and mods. I am sure compared to my previous cars the Z is a beast and it will take me a some time to get comfortable and feel confident with handling her properly.

Hearing people talk about "putting their car away for the winter and not taking it out till spring" takes some getting used to when you don't hear that here in southern California. I'm sure you're anxious to try it out! Looks like a great find. Congrats and welcome!!
