Default Whats up TEAMNISSAN?

Greetings my fellow guys/gals!

I've been lurking for a while on this forum and I must admit I have found it pretty cool. Every forum has had its ups/downs but this one seems sweet. I've had all types of cars but only one type of motorcycle (Honda) but recently after wanting one for over a year I got a Z. I love it! I used to have a 240sx coupe that i did nothing but drift so of course buying the Z was just an extension of it with a faster car. I picked up my 2008 350Z from Carmax in Ellicott City, MD in December, 2012. Just so the flaming can begin properly for those who think Zs should be coveted sports cars kept in pristine condition; I'm 23, i drive "spirited" about 30% of the time and I drift my $20,000 car whenever i get a chance. its stock for now but i'm sure to fix it up in an extreme way soon as possible.

Here's a pic of it from the week i got it:

Here's a vid of me just getting acclimated to how it handles. Ignore the time stamp from my camera.

oh n here's a shot of my CBR:

Uh huh

There's a difference between "doughnuts" & "drifting". Look into it.

How about you look into it. Drifting involves counter steering and keeping momentum at a sideways angle. Donuts are simply just spinning around in circles. you wanna see a video of each?

Doughnuts see below:

Drifting in circles see below:

But i guess you'll call that doughnuts too.

Not a single line or link drift was performed in the videos of you doing doughnuts.

So how about No.

Yes really. Have you ever attended a drift competition? Please tell me how many lightpoles are in the middle of a track? Do you get points for going around circles (doughnuts)? Is that what the judges look for? No I won't post a vid because no one "drifts" around a pole.

Wait this guy got a little drift in

You even say it yourself in your own video "DRIFT CIRCLES"

I hope you drift better than you ride. You have massive chicken strips on the back tire of that CBR, more like chicken tenders. Flying down the highway on the bike doesn't make you a good rider, just like circling a light post doesn't make you Initial D.

WTF! are you serious right now? how does me messing around in the parking lot even slightly compare to a drift competition? You are just a troll you really should find something better to do with your time. Its people like you who make Forums a shitty place to be. No one can share anything with out someone flaming them for walking across the ****ing street.

I'm sorry but i've been riding for over five years. I just finished repainting this bike and cleaning it up. The tire on the back is used i got from someone else because the rim that was on the bike when i got it was bent. I put about 2 miles on that tire. For us who are on the East coast in MD we have this thing called winter so I haven't rode the bike really at all except up and down the street because its cold outside.

thanks for not being an @$$ like the rest of everyone else i encountered on this forum. I have been a member on here for a while just never posted because I was looking for a Z. Now i got one and have had it for like a month and a half i figured i would share some things about myself. Guess i shouldnt have done that tho because clearly anything i post is wrong in the sights of people on here.

Im on the east coast too and I don't b!tch out when its cold. How fast do you have to go before you get pu$$y lip flap on the CBR?

Riding time doesn't equal good experience either, but that is neither here nor there.

You will do well on these forums.

I was not B!tching about the cold. Its common sense that you shouldnt have a bike out especially a sports bike with tires that dont get much grip in the first place out on cold asphalt. I didnt have a car for 3 months and could only ride my bike everywhere rain/shine. Im pretty sure I have experience. ANd I havent road on that tire on the highway at all. I didnt say i was motoGP or Initial D. I was just trying to freaking introduce myself. I wont do that again.
