The story of my Z...
You have HRE wheels... how are my Varrstoens driving up the price of your wheels? Do they even make knockoffs of those wheels? Don't answer that, it doesn't matter. I'm done with this conversation. Thanks for the advice... I'll take it for what it's worth.
First... It's a car forum and when you post pictures or anything its going to be critique. Good or bad. And I've had more than a few critiques of my Z negatively. But the majority loves my Z. And not to "brag" but if I was too look from the outside (non-owner) to my Z... I'd agree with the majority. The fucker is bad ass.
Second, you bought shitty, knock-off wheels that hurt the market for those, like myself, that buy original, quality wheels/parts. You help drive the price up by buying knock-offs which in turn makes it harder for the public to purchase quality wheels. If you do the research you would see that you can get quality wheels for the same, sometimes less, than knock-off. Case in point... Enkei RPF1.
Lastly... I'm not telling you what to do with your money. I'm advising you from YEARS of experience that buying those Varrgross wheels you made a mistake. And I promise if you were in my shoes, owning quality wheels and parts you would be making the same argument. Because when I have to come up with even more money due to counterfeit parts being sold so I can own quality and original... It pisses me off! So don't be mad at me at a point you agree with.

Manufacturing standards exist for a reason.
There is also a reason why ISO certifications are so hard to get and why JWL/VIA tests are used around the world, not just japan, to certify quality wheels.
You can "be done" with the conversation all you want to. The point still stands that crap wheels are not only ****ing up the market for people who take pride in their cars, but its also unsafe for the people around you. Have you seen a wheel explode? The spokes become flying projectiles at 70mph. What if your family was in a car behind you and your wheel exploded, harming or killing someone?
Would you still "be done" with this topic?
I don't think that would be the case.

I have an honest question... not letting this get personal anymore... how would you say Varrstoens compare to OEM wheels? Just about every car I've owned and cars family/friends have owned with low profile OEM wheels have had at least one bent wheel, my OEM Z wheels included. My driver front Varrstoen took a solid hit and lost a chunk out of one of the spokes, not too deep, but didn't crack or bend. Obviously, I still replaced it for safety reasons, but still seemed to have solid structural integrity. Had a similar instance with my Rotas on my last car, and they held up great as well. Never bent a single wheel out of the 4 years/50k miles I had them. Just a side note, 18" VW GTI wheels seemed to be pretty terrible quality as well. I've never ridden in a GTI without a bent OEM wheel... and that's about 4 or 5 GTI's, 3 of them still currently owned by friends.
OEM is a cheaply massed produced cast wheel as well. And I've seen several fail the same as Rota, Varrstoens, etc... The problem with with this cheap after market wheels vs. OEM... They are coping top-of-the-line wheels and OEM is not. Hence "Knock-offs." And when a business floods the market with knock-offs it drives the price up for those that want original wheels and parts!
