Does my 04 Base Coupe have TPMS?
The day I bought my car i started doing my full race build, I did not even drive it more then from my trailer into my garage. My new wheels arrived, and I read that most of these cars have TPMS? But I don't think my 04" base does. It does not show me a screen on the little trip computer gauge for a reading, (however i am not driving it) but I don't see where it would give me a reading. Also my valve stems are rubber, which usually does not mean it has TPMS. So does anyone know if an 04 Base mode has it or not?
Thanks
Thanks
all 350z came with TPMS - if you bought your car used?? and from the sound of the rubber stems - it seems the TPMS units were removed...
if you care for them you can buy them on EBAY, or local NTB, discount tire and they can relearn them all back to your cars computer.
also, see here:

All 350Z's did not come with TPMS. I have an '03 Base and no TPMS. I bought the car new so I know the car did not come equipped with TPMS. I believe during 2003, 2004 and 2005 the Base and Enthusiast models did not have the monitoring system.
Who am I suppose to believe here? LOL one guy says they didn't come with it, one guy says they did!?

I am leaning to they did not, because where am I suppose to see the reading? it does not display where it should if I did have it? And I have OEM wheels with rubber stems. Also, the manual says the TPMS was optional (if equipped how they say it)
