After years of finally wanting a Z, I pulled the trigger and got one about a month ago. I'm loving it so far! It's a 04.5 Touring in pearl white with 69k miles. This is a huge upgrade coming from a 96 Sentra. As much as I love this car, one of the downsides for me is the attention it gets. My girlfriend lives in the bad parts of the city so I hate parking my car anywhere around where she lives. I'm pretty paranoid about people breaking into my car too. I was curious to see if anyone got their Z's broken into? Anyways, I'm happy to join this forum and learn as much as I can about my Z!

No pics=no z lol. I used to go to some bad parts of my city, sometimes I used a car cover to avoid any unwanted attention but I think it might draw even more attention because it's covered. I found out a lot of people who don't know much about cars mistake the 350 for a porsche and you got a beacon on your car saying "rob me".

 

Get your windows tinted and lock it up. First sign of problems, don't go back.

OP i had my window tint scratched and my plastic trim ripped up in a walmart shopping area in broad daylight, if it's gonna happen it's gonna happen, look into gettin a alarm system
