Default Another Noob!

Hey everyone! Became a part of the Z community as of last weekend! Bought my 2008 Grand Touring edition, with burnt orange leather and factory Navigation. She came fitted with Stillen intakes and Borla exhaust! Been in love with these cars since the very first time I seen one. After years of Honda ownership I sold my 99 prelude and started on the hunt for one. Found her at a dealership in North Carolina...which is a hell of a long way from Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada haha. But it was EXACTLY what I wanted in the Z I've always been dreaming of!

After weeks of back and forth with the dealership, I flew down with my girlfriend to pick her up! Was less then impressed with the condition of the back tires, especially with our 1600mile journey home. So, they put a brand new set of Nitto NT555 on the back of it,fully detailed and threw in a 3 year powertrain warrenty for the inconvenience. Not my first choice of tire, but new nonetheless. 3 days later she's in my driveway in Nova Scotia and I couldn't be anymore excited to own this car!

Look forward to getting to know you guys and thank you for all the info this site has provided.

Pictures after I was handed the keys to her officially!

I'm actually pretty jelly of your Z. Those wheels look sick on the black. Throw some 25mm out back and 20 up front and you're set for a while. This thing looks clean!

Welcome to the board, and it doesn't seem like you're a n00b with dem negotiating skillz!!!!

EDIT!: Don't forget you got what looks like the Dodge Avenger or Acura RDX shorty antenna!

Plans for mods? Giving me those brembos?

very nice - the combo of the gold brembos and the burnt orange is a great combo, as mentioned above, on the black is even better. Stillen and borla just sweeten the deal...

Thanks a lot guys! I'm really enjoying the car. A lot of people don't like the burnt orange interior, but I love it. Breaks up all of the black inside and out..and said above, matches the brembo's very well (which are incredible brakes by the way. so much stopping force)

Plans for the car this year are to just enjoy it. Next year ill throw some spacers all the way around and some new front tires. Look into completing the exhaust with some HFCs as well. Not really much in the way of appearance mods I want to do to her right now. Love the look of the car as it sits to be honest hah

Question for you guys. Did these models come with 275/35/19's? that's what was on the back of it when they replaced them, so that's what they put back on..but I always thought they were 265's out back? Wasn't going to say anything at the time hah
