Default soon to be an 07 touring owner..

so im 75% in on picking up a 07 touring coupe this weekend. already approved for it and everything...

the only thing im concerned about is the mileage and its practicality as a daily driver. I dont know many people who own Z's thats why im asking here.

i will be commuting 60 miles round trip, a day, from home to work and back. From what i've read the gas tank capacity is 20 gallons? which seems pretty high. and have also read that an average fill up tops off at 15 gallons. Can someone clear this up for me? and For those who drive close to 60 miles a day, how does that take a toll on your wallet?

i already own a car, this will be my 2nd car. preferably my daily. how many of you daily your Z and how do you like it ?

Thanks in advance.

man. i knew filling up on 91 and driving a V6 would cost me. i could afford it, but coming from a 28-30 mpg with my other car, do i really want to do this ? haha

Why not use your other vehicle as your daily if you are concerned about mpg?

cause its an S13 set up for drift, and since it was my only car, i had no choice to daily it. its slammed and very impractical. ive always wanted a Z and if im about to do monthly payments on a car, i might as well do it on a car that i want and would enjoy.

by the way, this 07 touring coupe im looking at has 105xxx miles. is that considered high for a 2007 or high for a VQ35HR ?

If you're looking for mpg get a prius.

Real note... though. I get about 20mpg total. I drive in the city more than the highway because everything is near me. Best I've gotten on the highway was 24.1

I got the 24.1 with putting it in neutral going down hills, and shifting at 3k. 107k all depends on how much abuse it was put through by the PO's, and if those are highway or city miles. If you can have it done, take it to a shop and have them go through and see if they find anything abnormal so you know if you'll be looking at any early repairs.
