Default Just In

I just got out of the 240SX Scene and now am in the Z scene. I've never owned a Z but I look forward to many years with this baby. It's an 03' Touring 6 Spd model. All black with JDM tails and just about bone stock besides the lights. I'm planning on purchasing some springs and wheels and just keep it maintained and healthy. It's a very nice car but the only issue is that my throw out bearing is very annoying and my car needs to be revved when started in order to stay on. I'm guessing its a dirty maf or something but if you know of anything lmk. But here is the beauty.

Okay, I will in about 30 minutes lmao But anyone know why when I start my car up, I have to rev it in order for it to stay on?

Oiyitsc, search this site using the key words “throttle relearn procedure”, (also use google) to see it the symptoms match what you are experiencing. The fix (procedure) is easy and can return your Z to proper obedience.

What do you mean? You have a Z?! You should be able to pick up a nice project on the side. Their nice cars but damn, they are a lot of work believe it or not...ahha and thank you all for the welcomes! (:

I'd keep the Z ( way too much invested to ever get rid of it ), but want a 240 as a side project. I've raced my brother-in-law's 240 a couple times in the 24 Hour of Lemons races and had a blast with it.

Glad to hear that the horrendous grill has gone. Did you have any success with Jennifer 2's throttle re-learn procedure?

Well I actually just pulled apart the whole throttle and intake system and found carb build up all around the throttle body entrance. It was caked on so much that it couldn't open or close. Clogged on both sides so I got some throttle body cleaner and cleaned the crap out of it and just as I expected, it worked like a charm and doesn't shut off anymore. I did install some new Eibach Pro-Kit Sportlines on the Z and she sits like a beaute. Perfect height, but it does need some spacers and some bigger wheels and he'll look so nice and the way I wanted my Z to look. So just a little update and picture of him.

Interesting you call your Z a "he" so you must be a she? Looks clean lowered. I'm interested in the jdm tails if you ever want to part ways with them.

I'd get rid of that big *** aerial for a short stubby Honda one if I were you. It'd look loads better than that fishing rod you've got sticking out of the side of your Z at the moment.

How much are you willing to spend? And I would need stock lights with the transaction!

And also, if anyone is interested in shoes, I am selling many shoes to fund my next project which is getting new wheels for my baby. VVVV

But is anyone interested in my OEM Wheels $300 w/ tires??? It'll help a lot.
