Default New owner problems.

Hey so first post here. I went from being a 3000gt enthusiast to picking up an 03 350z coupe the other day. Now I'm having issues with it. The previous owner had a racing clutch installed and It's hard as hell to shift into any gear from a stand still. When cold the car shifts beautifully, but since I live in Hawaii, it gets hot every now then. I've heard that adjusting the clutch pedal could help so I tried that by adjusting the rod behind the clutch pedal arm. Once I had everything back together the car wouldn't turn over. I have full electronics, and she tries to start but it won't. I've read that the clutch safety sensor could be faulty but I never even touched that while I was in there. Since then I removed the sensor took it apart, cleaned it with running alcohol, and put it back in. Still having the same issue. I know the sensor is at least working because if I hole the ignition key to the "start" position and remove my foot from the clutch, it stops the car from even trying to turn over. I'm going to go back in and adjust the pedal back to it original placement and I'll see if that changes anything. If that doesn't work I'll go out and buy a new sensor. But in the mean time is there any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

sounds like you adjusted it too far..... you need to be careful with the push rod adjustment because you can actually make it to where it is like you are riding the clutch pedal when you arent. i would use that minimal adjustments at most. maybe flush the line and fill with new fluid (prob needed anyway).

Sounds like a plan. Would you agree that the switch is working?

it sounds like it to me. i have the wilwood master on mine and at first the pedal wasnt popping all the way back up.. when i contacted zspeed about it he told me just to have it when the pedal pushes all the way up and no more. you dont want constant pressure on your throwout. i cant remember which way i had to turn mine, i think counter clockwise to get rid of the slack (dont hold me to that on which way i turned it)

I'm sitting here screwing with it and I can't get it to turn on. I feel like I've brought that adjustment rod all the way out and in.

mark a line on it with a marker so that you can see how much you are actually moving it, it may seem like you are moving it more than you really are... take out the dead pedal so you have more area to move the pliers on the rod

So to dummy check. Is there any other interlocks with the clutch other than that switch? If not the adjustment shouldn't change a thing. In theory I should be able to press the switch with my finger and start the car correct?

Also double dummy check, let's say for shots and giggles my car is not starting due to battery being drained. Would I still have 12v display on my gauge? I would assume not. I have power but it doesn't want to turn over.

Okay got everything started but I'm back at square one. The car shifts perfectly when the car is cold, but as soon as it's warmed up it gets nearly impossible to shift. And if at a stand still clutch in, If I try to put it into gear the at starts to roll forward as if the clutch is already engaged. Again this only happens after the car has had a chance to warm up and while at speed she shifts relatively easy. With engine off the shifter goes through all gear positions fine. Only thing I could think of would be clutch fluid has air in it and is expanding with heat. I will be bleeding my clutch in about an hour when my friend gets here but is there antithetical suggestions in the mean time?

Update: went in and bled the clutch master then slave, adjusted the clutch pedal once more and I'm finally shifting perfectly. No problems. I appreciate all the help but it looks like I'm running smooth (for now)
