2008 350z New Owner!
Hey everyone, been lurkin for a little on this site, and finally decided to buy myself a 2008 Nissan 350z Base. So far, I love it! The only thing I'm getting used to is the low clearance (I have a steep driveway XD, but I've managed to build a good ramp for no scrape
). A little impractical for where I live, but who cares! Haven't really had time to get out there and take a real good pic with school and work, but I have a few.
I paid 16k for it with 60k miles, it also came with an AEM cold air intake. Bad deal? XD
Few questions:
I'm looking for a decent sound system (stock system is mehhh) to be my first upgrade. Any recommendations? Everyone here is saying the Kenwood DDX470 is a good unit to start with. Now should I run speakers through that, if so what are my limitations? Or should I buy a 4 channel amp and some speakers and a mono 1 channel for the sub? I know it depends on how good of a system I want, but let's just say I'm looking for an above average system with clean bass (maybe I don't even need a sub? keep in mind I'm not trying to blast the socks off people in public
).
Well that about does it, let me know what you guys think!

Yeah, I thought it was a little much, I kinda jumped on it quick. I was originally going to get a Subaru WRX. What is considered a good price for these vehicles? jw
Depends on how good you are at negotiating lol. I usually check book values then work from there. Start with a "semi lowball" then work up from there. I got my 08 with 39k miles for 16.7k in August of 2012
That's awesome! Yeah I won't lie I'm not the best, I worked him down like 500 bucks but it was at a dealership and he really said he wouldn't go lower (LIES!!!). Oh well, I feel happy about it and I guess that's all that matters XD
