Another new Z owner!
Hey guys, new the forum and recently jumped ship from the S-chassis camp. Got a sweet deal on this lil 03' touring 6spd, and I'm in love!! 202k but everything feels so tight and it run so well you could never tell the mileage was that high. It has a HKS replica exhaust, eibach pro-kit, and some 18x9 18x10 fr-500s.....big plans to follow...

Nice. I'm in for the updates of how long this baby will last beyond it's manufacturer's goal of 200k. I hope you make it to 400k or more. The Z might end up being one of the most reliable sports car in history in competition with maybe the Mazda MX5. You better contact the Guinness book of world records if you do reach that.

I had the rx-8 no doubt a very comparable car from just a performance standpoint, but my rx8 ate its own engine at 100kthey are really great cars until that happens...that MPG though.....im very suspicious about this being the original engine, it really runs exceptionally well. but then again the interior is also pristine so maybe...all i know is i do not miss my s-cars in the least. to get them at the point this car starts takes thousands of dollars and lots of hours. im going to focus on making mods that will make the car a better driving experience. im not really concerned with making more hp.thats just a number that really means nothing. i want to make the car faster and sharper first with the hp it has. i want to start with mods that will make a larger impact on how the car feels to drive....instead of the usual go-to bolt ons,(intake/header/exhaust/pulleys) which really don't seem to do much in the way of making a big change in the car. im thinking more like great tires/4.08s/clutch/light flywheel/swaybars. these mods seem to make more of an impact. also to me things like seats/ steering wheel/ shifter and ****/ and pedals would make the car "feel" better since these are what all of your interactions are with. dont get me wrong here i LOVE horse powers, im just not one to nickle and dime 15 hp here 10 hp there. when its time to make power ill go from stock to built and boosted in one shot, if you can't tell i like big contrasts. though i feel like making hp is way down on the to-do list.
