Thanks for a great forum. I come to you as a Honda lover. I swung a good deal on a 2005 350z. and MAN, I'm REALLY liking the car. Coming from Honda, I'm so used to swaps and turbos and all the related, that I ended up here to learn the new "lingo" and see what I could do to make the "Z" more fun.
As a Nissan "noob", I haunted here a while before posting. I took some good advice I found here on the forums and am ordering diff bushings (I got some wheel hop), a 4.08 gear set and an LSD. Car has an aftermarket exhaust on it and love the tone. a LOT!
My wife likes the car (which is a big plus), and I will confess to REALLY enjoying the air conditioning. Finally a car I can drift! :P
Thanks for all the help, I feel like I'm cheating on my Honda roots (just a wee bit).... but I REALLY like this car. I'm already looking for a 370 to add to the fleet.

Keep up the good work and thanks for the help.
Welcome aboard.
On "Honda shame".... I find NOTHING wrong with Hondas. The only thing(s) that gives them a bad name are the same crazy things people do (arguably pointless) to every car marque, including Zs. Heck, especially Zs. (Read the "350Z becoming new 240SX" thread for some serious bashing.... which I find just as pointless as being ashamed of a Honda).
Hopefully your experience here has been and will continue to be a good one.
I just need to read more. Looks like with some "light" shopping they can be had in the $200-$350 range.
If you're still on a Honda mod budget, best to keep it on the down low around here. Its not owning a Honda that causes flammage, its mostly when you Plastidip or rattle can everything on your z hoping to get compliments.

That's the truth. I've noticed that DIY is not popular in the 350z community. Everyone is gong to tell you to buy this kit or that kit and really discourage you try to develop new things yourself. Coming from the Honda world I would imagine you do a lot of both of those things.
What town do you live in? I'm in Glendive. There's not a lot of Montanans on this board as I'm sure you can imagine. Because there's not a lot of Montanans.

I'm up in Glasgow.
We tend to do a lot of things ourselves, but it seems to be more high end fabrication, than plastidip and fuzzy dice.
