So I've wanted a Z since I saw tokyo drift back in 06.........at the time I was 12 and thought that was the coolest car ever. Fast forward 8 years and I'm 21, I found an 03 pearl white 350Z enthusiast with 18" BBK rims with only 130k on her.........Took it to the shop I work at and put her up on the lift. The bottom is SPOTLESS, no rust, no problems, no leaks, no nothing. And here is the best part....The ad was posted for this car at 7k. Or he wanted to trade for something with a backseat. I offered up my 01 Mitsubishi Eclipse with $1800 cash and he took it. Only things wrong are: drivers exterior door handle is broken (plastics cracked on inside like all of them all) and the mufflers gone (taken off to sound better) I just pulled top end apart to check everything (mechanics OCD) I did valve cover gaskets/plugs/and cleaned intake out while i was in there. It's clean as a whistle. No sounds, noises, ticks, clicks, shifts SOLID, and will spin tires on the track all day long. I've flushed all fluids as well and everything came out clean as hell! I'm so damn excited! This is my dream car and yes I'm another young owner. No I will not be stupid and wreck it..........I've waited and worked 2 full-time jobs for 7 years along with finishing school to get this with my own hard earned money. I brought it home to show my parents for the first time (they didn't know anything about it) and they thought it was pretty cool little car
Pictures soon as I get home tonight!!!!!! Thank you to you all for the COUNTLESS threads that helped me choose over the years what I wanted!

Glad to see its worked out for you. Similar position as me, 20 years old and an 03 pearl white z.
Sounds like you are mechanically inclined, which is a good thing.
Any idea if the transmission was ever upgraded to the CD009 or if its still on the original tranny?

I havent checked the transmission but I believe it's stock. Surprisingly enough I have a CD009 I can have anytime from another local shop that I know the owner from. But my tranny now is shifting great! I am very mechanically inclined and have been since I was old enough to turn a wrench with my dad
