Default Fresh start 03 Z

So i bought a 03 350 touring and have only maintained it as a dd (oil, brakes, clutch, ect.) And am looking to do few mods for some hp gain ive done a little bit of reading so far and have seen pretty much what i can do for a small cheap start which is air intake, plenum spacer, and headers and exhaust. Any other recomendations on where to go from there just looking for some fairly easy hp gain without dumping 10 grand in it atm.

None of those things mentioned will do a thing to boost horsepower, but an exhaust may have a different sound you may prefer. Perhaps consider some new swaybars, lightweight 18" wheels and better tires, and/or springs/shocks (especially it your car has more than 60K miles). Those things will make a difference you can feel, and there are numerous threads here you should be reading and taking notes from.

you will spend alot of money for little hp gains, one thing that you never mentioned was a tune, so take all your parts and add about another 700 on it for the tune. being that you bought the first year, my guess is your budget for parts will consist of ebay quality. just drive and enjoy the car

^^^ These.

And add driving school to the top of the list to get the most out of ANY car, but especially the Z.

Don't take that wrong, that's no commentary on your existing skills. It just makes it all mo'bettuh.

Dean, Trav, it's been a while since I've said it, OK? Hahahahahahaaaaaaa! Best to consider it a bump on my previous thousand or so mentions.

Osiris mail in tune, plenum spacer,JWT Pop charger,Ditch the headers NOT worth the effort IMOP,Test pipes or HFC (REsonated ONLY or your Z will sound like a CIVIC!) Better flowing Y pipe and a decent "Cat back exhaust".

Best of luck in your mods and ownership! They're great cars

Yes of coarse!!,But a mail in is more convenient. Also once he has a license he'll be able to take it to a dyno for fine tuning if he wants.
