Default Oil in exhaust

Yesterday I did an oil change on my 03 z, I decided to put synthetic oil in, my current mileage is just under 100,000. When I got on it I noticed white smoke come from the back for just a second. When I got to my destination I noticed oil all over the undercarriage on the drivers side. The engine is no longer leaking from anywhere that I can see but when I start the engine up Im still getting oil spatter from the exhaust. Any ideas on what might have happened?

You're burning oil- either head or ring problems. Have you ever done a leak down or compression test? The oil on the undercarriage is likely from a separate source. Time to more closely monitor oil consumption and evaluate overall condition of your VQ.

White smoke might indicate coolant leaking into the engine via the head gasket.

If so… Best case you have a faulty/leaking head gasket; worst case you have a warped head (and consequent leaking head gasket).
