Default Hello from a new owner

i recently just found a great deal on my Z. it is an 2007 350Z touring roadster stock w/ 10,042 miles on it. I'm excited to put some miles on it next week on our mini vacation. i know from owning (wife's old toy) an 2010 g37x coupe that this will be a good reliable car hopefully. I only issue i just noticed is that my air bag light is flashing on the dash. i just read an old thread that says there was a recall but when i looked it up it showed there is none. otherwise the car seams flawless.

Excellent find on that low low low mile Roadster !

Someone preserved it, and didn't quite enjoy it to its fullest - now you can !

Welcome and Enjoy it !

thanks AX8. actually it's a sad story for the guy i bought it of. he bought it brand new for a birthday gift for him self and 3 weeks ago he got his hand caught in a chipper and lost him entire hand so he can't shift this 6 speed any longer. he was heart broken. i actually feel real bad for him.

Chances are your airbag light is flashing because something rolled under the seat and knocked one of the connectors, this is quite a common thing. Otherwise there is a reset you can do which is really simple and goes as follows.
1) Shut the ignition off
2) switch it back on again and wait for the airbag light to flash, then switch of again.
3)Go through this process four times.
5) On the fifth time start the engine and the airbag light will flash no more.
This has worked for me and I've had no trouble since.
Oh yeah, welcome to the forum.
