New member with 2004 Z
Hello everyone,
I am a first time owner of a 350z; however, not new to the 350z/G35 platform (I used to own a 2003 G35). I bought my Z from a previous forum member and track enthusiast.
The Z came with many tastefully upgrades including the 18" Nismo LMGT4 wheels, Akebono brake kit, Nismo S-Tune catback, Motordyne Lower collector + plenum Spacer, Hotchkis front & rear sway bars, and many more upgrades.
I've been lingering the forums for a month or so trying to learn and educate myself about the car. Either way, here it is.

I can't really compare both since the Z is modded and the G35 was fully stock. I do remember the G35 having a bit better ride quality vs the Z. Everything else seems about same except for the lack of room in the back

I am also a previous owner of 1995 200sx se-r and co-founder of Sr20-Forum.com. The 200sx was boosted and I was able to squeeze 325WHP 305TQ with bluebird DET, S3 JWT Cams, T28 @ 14psi, JWT ECU. Best time in 1/4 was a 13.1 on street tires.
Some pics of the G35.

Thank you for all the warm welcomes!

Welcome to the forum. and congrats on the purchase of a tidy looking Z. it looks like you've managed to save yourself a few $'s with the mods that have already been done and those LMGT4's just seem to be going up in price as they get more rare. Have you any other plans for mods?

The only thing I have in mind is replacing/changing the COBB Accessport to an Uprev tune. Aside form being discontinued, I've read and I feel like the car is running a bit on the rich side. I guess due to the year of the car (or maybe I haven't played enough with it) I cannot view the A/F Ratios.
The car has many other mods that I didn't list like the KW V2 Coilovers, Mishimoto radiator and fans, powergrid end links, etc.
haha congrats on your new ride man, your car looks mint. Like you I picked up a Z recently, mine is a 03' track with 79K. My 350z is in near perfect 79K cosmetic condition but I do have some small issues that I need to address. But I hope you and enjoy your car as much as I do. Welcome.
