Default Any help would be AWESOME

I hope all is well. I recently purchased a 2004 Nissan 350z roadster w/105xxx miles bone stock. The seller said that the car wont rev, so i figured it would be an easy fix. I've replaced almost every sensor, no change. I dug into the wiring harness and found a few bad connections, spliced wires, and pushed in pins at the ecu connector. I ordered a new harness, installed the harness, and now it cranks but wont start. Ive done the learning procedures numerous times, it has a strong battery, not sure where to go from here. The red light for the security system does not stay on while attempting to start so i dont think its the NATS. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Take it to a Nissan dealership, tell them it's broke and realize you just got swindled by someone who sold you his problem.

^^THIS and realize your Z33 needs a CONSULT III and an experienced tech to get it back running right. Less money and headaches than throwing parts and expletives at it.

OK so apparently while i was in the garage for 30 mins i got a lot of replies. I got it to start but it wont rev. I dont want to take it to the stealership cause the closest one is about an hour away. I'm gonna pull the codes again and see whats on there. Only code that was on it last time was the one for the pcv valve or something like that. My M35 has that same code and it runs fine. So yeah.

Revs a little, very rough idle. i have to press the pedal all the way to the floor. Honestly sounds like the timing is off.The only way I know to correct that is to get the ecu flashed........

Before you spend any $$ on your problem, follow this advice from dkmura:

The Consult III provides the best analysis codes for your 350z.

I’m guessing, but I’d bet your problem is with failing camshaft sensors and crankshaft sensors. I had the same symptoms you describe and fixed things by replacing sensors.
