Default New guy saying hi!

Hi all,

Been lurking for a while so I figured it was about time for a formal introduction. Got my Z as a gift from my uncle when he replaced it a few months ago with a new 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S.

She's an '03 Track model with about 73K miles. Got some mild plans to get her refreshed and updated that will proceed at whatever pace the budget allows.

Look forward to learning tons and enjoying her this summer!

The 2003 Track Model is one of the best offerings of a 350z. 70k miles is an almost new car for the "Z."

Nice car (Uncle, too) and it looks to be in great shape. Don't Dugan it (someday you'll figure out what that means).

Thanks for he warm welcome everyone. She's a good looking car but I am in the process of getting rid of the body kit and those heavy 19" wheels. I prefer a simpler more classic look and less fiberglass lol!

yeah, lightweight wheels make a huge difference on the Z. I was quite surprised at the difference I could feel going from the ~25 pound OEM wheels to a set of ~18 pound Rays wheels.

Sweet ride. Love how it shines.. Maybe in a few years you can talk your uncle into getting a GT-R, and then he'll give you the 911. See where I'm goin' with this?

Haha! The Porsche might be the last car he gets! Believe it or not the Z was his daily from the day he took delivery in '03. Of course his commute was only ~6miles round trip.

Wow. For a 14 year old daily, it looks real clean. He probably had "fun" in parking lots haha

The car looks great and is good condition overall as you would expect from a one owner vehicle. Its not all rosy though, I had to remove the factory side skirts in order to get the body kit sides off and discovered some rust where the rear wheel wells meet the rear corner of the rocket panel. It's ugly but I'm glad I discovered now so I can address it.

What wheels are you looking to get into? Volks TE37?
In for progress, glad you're undoing some things here.
