My first 350Z, A Dream Come True?
Hey everyone!
It's been about a year since I first discovered these forums and I've been so anxious to finally become a part of the community. I'll make this a fairly quick introduction so I don't bore y'all to death.
My name is Moses, I'm a 20 year old (New Years baby) living in Dallas. I work full time as a concierge/Valet at a hospital. Making about $20 an hour and trying to pay off some small debts. I would say I know how to manage my money very well.
For as long as I remember, I've always had a love for the 350Z. I never thought the day would finally come where I would be able to afford this car, but after almost 2 years of saving up, here I am.
Alright so let's get to the Z. I picked this thing up at a dealership near me that's known for selling luxury European cars (Audi, Benz, BMW, Ect.). I found it with fairly low miles so I figured I had to jump on it. It was one of the only 350Z's w/ less than 80K miles in my area. I got it for $10k cash (including all fees). It was also the cleanest 350Z I had seen/test driven within a 100 miles radius of me. It's a 5AT Silver 2006 Roadster Enthusiast. To be honest, I was a little worried at first that people would give me crap for buying a automatic convertible 350Z, but at this point I really don't care. She's my baby, and she definitely beats having a 2002 Honda Accord.
So without further ado... here are some pictures of my beauty.
Feel free to ask any questions/drop some knowledge on me, I'm eager to join the community!

Congratulations Moses. Looks like you did all the right things with your purchase. Saving up as opposed to getting a loan on a used car is the way to go. I hope you have lots of good miles ahead of you in your Z. Welcome to the forums.

The building in the background is actually the hospital I work at, I decided to park it out front and take some pictures for the forums! I hope they're good enough pictures, I'll be doing a photoshoot soon w/ the Dallas Skyline in the background!

Just want to say thank you all so much for the replies so far! Honestly did not expect such positive/uplifting feedback (was expecting hate about the 5AT convertible). I really do appreciate it, I'll be posting updated pictures soon as I do work on the car. First thing is first, get the car detailed inside/out and make it look like it did when it drove off the lot back in '06!

Congrats Moses - looks good ... way to buy it with cash!
everyone seems nice and friendly until you tell everyone you're 20 years old, hospital valet, start asking how to turbo it to and run high boost to beat your buddy's dodge neon...
I'm not personally a fan of automatics nor convertibles but if you want to look into a coupe/6mt you can always sell and purchase another one!
