Default Inherited 2003 350Z Touring 6sp 47k original

Well almost... my dad passed away 2 weeks ago and my mom wants me to sell the cars off...

I drove this car 1 time 12 years ago(bought in May 2005 with 18k on it), and still remember it was a nice car. I haven't thought about it since... The car has not been driven for years, so she took it to the dealer and spent $4k on getting it back on the road...

I am going to buy it myself.

I will pick up the car next week and drive it home!!!

some sort of silver color, maybe the chrome silver

I had a 510 Datsun 30 plus years ago...

Never had a Z before

keeping me up at night!

Wow, sorry to hear of your father's recent passing, but how unbelievably cool that you'll be taking over his Z. Enjoy every minute of it and welcome to the boards.

^great story behind the Z ... you got any pictures? Just curious(because I want to be dismayed) what did $4k at the dealership get you?

No pix until I fly down to pic it up... no wrecks or dents, i think he said it had 19's on it... my parents drove it to my shop on a cross country road trip when they first bought it, my dad smacked the curb with it pulling in to the parking lot. Thats really the last time I noticed the car. My dad was 75 when he died, so watching my mom FALL into the seat(74 yrs old) to drive it last week was funny but sad... way to low for her to drive, and very typical not to contact me for any help on car issues. When I get the dealership paper, I'm sure to be disappointed...

I didn't want to talk about cars so soon, but she wants them gone...

Maybe she can send me a couple pix, will call her tomorrow.

Sorry for the loss of your Dad. I understand all too well how difficult it is to settle an estate after my Mom passed a few years ago. Best of luck on your silver Z!

BTW- those are NOT 19" wheels. Looks like the standard 18 X 8.0 wheels on the touring model.

thx for the info, I don't actually remember what the wheels looked like when he brought it to my shop 12 years ago at that point I really couldn't care less about the car. He might have ruined them when he jumped the curb or he may have thought a 18s were cool... I'll check the right front for curb rash!!
