New member from Texas
Hi Everyone,
I picked up a 2006 Enthusiast A/T two weeks ago to use as my daily driver. Previous owner was my father in law (bought it new in 2006), and while he didn't keep meticulous records, he did keep up with the fluids and follow most of the recommended mileage services at the dealership when needed. It was driven regularly for the first few years of ownership but tapered off to less than 2k miles per year over the last five or six years so it is fairly low mileage now at only 73k.
Since driving it home I have been working through the 60,000 maintenance schedule to make sure the major items are checked off and to give myself a good baseline moving forward then I will follow that up with a few non essential items (I ordered the Z Speed aluminum undershroud and new hatch struts for example).
Anyway, thanks in advance for all of the information on these forums, I probably spend at least an hour or two each day reading through what everyone has to say. Hopefully in the future I will be able to make my own contributions that someone else will find useful once I get to know the car better.
