Talking How rare is a find like this?

Hey guys, new to all of this forum posting and all that, but this past weekend i purchased a Z! It's been a car I have been wanting for years and I finally managed to find one that was in a condition that was very shocking. It's a 2006 350z base coupe 6 speed with only 47k miles!! Originally the guy was asking 11k but managed to talk him down to 9750. The condition of it inside and out is practically showroom condition and nothing was modified to the car. Its a local Florida car as well and has never left the state. Do you guys have any idea on the rarity of a find like this would be? here are some photos; Plans for me right now are to keep it stock for as long as I can and make it stay in this condition. Still have yet to clean the car entirely that will be happening this Saturday!

Excellent deal!

I would not say it is super rare. Extremely clean, low mile, unmolested Zs do come up from time to time. Most Zs nowadays are owned by kids who beat the crap out of them or someone who simply does not care and neglects it. It is becoming more and more rare as time goes on because yours, for example, is 14 years old. It almost seems a shame to modify it lol.

Enjoy the car and welcome to the Z-fam!

My fear. Always parked my rear wheels adjacent to the end of the white lines/parking lines. But always back into the spot, easier.

I wonder if we'll ever see an 380RS in the US.

You can buy one and import it but it's a LOT of money, forgot how much exactly tho. For a street version hell no, I think Nissan has given up now.

Looks like you made a good purchase though I don't think it is too rare of a find. I just sold my 2006 with 20K miles... I was the original owner and only mods I did were to the suspension.

Very nice car. I purchased a 2003 Touring, MT with 35,000 miles this past September. 1 owner, no mods, garage kept under a cover, never seen snow, mint condition. Even had original tires. Paid $10,500. Thought about keeping it completely stock but will be adding plenum spacer, new intake and new exhaust this spring when I get it out of storage since my son wanted us to work on it. Will keep original parts in case I ever want to make it original again. Should have kept the original tires in case I wanted to make it completely original.

I'd say about the same rarity as finding a penny on the sidewalk.

Good find for sure - $10k aint bad seeing that it's clean/single owner, relatively low milage but not a rarity … You'll see Z33s on bring a trailer with less than 10k miles that people are selling.

Nothing is really rare on these cars because Nissan mass-produced the **** out of them. I'm sure there are a handful of z33s that has less than 1k miles on them bc people speculate that they are going to be worth something in the future?

none-the-less, nice car, great find, and enjoy the car - it was meant to be driven!

Welcome and congratulations!

We picked up a bone stock 06 base last November here in FL, too. Ours has 85k miles, so still low for the age, but twice what yours has.

I have a 2003 Z that I have owned since July 1, 2003. It had 11 miles on it when I picked it up from the dealer. Now it has almost 28,000 miles. It hasn't been driven much but that was not the intent when I bought it. There have been many changes in my life and the Z sits in the garage much more than it probably should.

I bought my 06 with 27k miles on the clock for $10k out the door. Soooo, not that rare :P Mine didn't stay stock though, it's now a fully prepped track car.

Nice car, almost a crime to not drive it. On the bright side not driving it keeps it fresh.

Default Great finds

Nice ride. I bought an 03 last year with 40k on it with cold air intake mod. For 8k. I have since added adjustable sway bars, big brakes and ark tuned exhaust. To run scca autocross. Buddy of mine just bought an 08 with 15k on it for 12k. Has headers tuned exhaust, front splitter, is brimbo model. Very jealous. Good prices cause we worked at a car dealership.
