Talking Had my 2003 Z delivered last week.

Hi all,

Found an old lady in Florida (75 years old) who was the original owner of a 2003 350z touring. Red coupe with a 6 speed. No accidents and a clean title. I got lucky.....80k miles. $4500......

I had it transported to Chicago without even seeing the car.

It is unbelievably nice. I will be lurking for parts very soon. Any suggestions for maintenance? Is Z1 a decent exhaust brand?

Welcome and congrats on your Z. Did it come with any maintenance records? The paint was called Redline and looks beautifully cared for by the first owner. If you are interested, do a search on maintenance and you'll find many recommend changing all fluids, including: engine oil/filter, tranny (Redline MT85), diff, brake fluid bleed, and radiator.

No paperwork on maintenance unfortunately. Car is in such nice shape. Couldn't believe it was this nice when it arrived.

The factory instruction manuals also includes a maintenance booklet. But if there's nothing, just go ahead and change all the fluids yourself. It's a good DIY project (check the DIY section here for instructions) to get to know your latest acquisition. No need to worry about any major maintenance until 100K.

After that, wash, clay, polish and seal that beautiful paint. Also, clean and treat those leather seats to keep them in top condition. Do you have a garage to keep the Z in?

All good COVID-19 projects to work on!
