2003 350z owners with different miles insight greatly appreciated!
Hey everyone,
So I'm going to buy my first 350z this week. It's a 2003 touring edition with 55k miles. I know there are many factors to how long a 350z will last depending on the previous owner or how it was maintained. I just want to get some insight to whoever has a 2003 350z on how many miles their 03 350z has at the moment and how much repair and what the repair has been till this day and how its running as well with any problems? Any info you guys have on what work has been done since you got Z at a certain mile till now. Oh, I also forgot to mention its for $10,500. Also in your opinions if thats a great, good, fair, or not a good deal.
Thank you guys

Sorry Dave, I'm currently reading all 75 pages of the post with the 2003 and how many miles each of them have. Thats how I came to write this thread, but more specifically than the miles, I'm trying to see what each person with the 2003 350z has done or has needed to fix with each different miles.
In a lot of the posts, people will state how much mileage is on their car and what they have had to do to it. I'm sure what you'll find is that the vast majority have been trouble free then you'll find a few owners who appear to have what can only be described as rolling disasters.
i have an 03 touring with 112,xxx miles no mechanical problems with the car. i have changed all fluids when needed with mobil 1 fluids and like i have said no problems what so ever. the only thing i have had to replace was the hatch struts. good luck with the car. and welcome

Thanks alot guys. I feel more comfortable getting the car as I read posts and comments on how your Z's are running strong at high miles. I'm surrounded by people who say "why are you getting a Z? it's just going to break down and cost alot to fix" "oh 55k is a lot on a car especially a Z". But from what I read, you guys know what the deal is from actual owners.
By the way, do you guys think this deal is to good to be true maybe? or has something wrong with it? 2003 350z with 55k for $10,500. (negotiated down from $11,500) I'll put the ad below. Please tell me what you guys think.

I bought my 03' 350z for $12,000 with 87k miles on it.
Put 6k miles on it so far and havent run into any issues at all. Still runs like a champ.
Previous owner was a middle aged woman (not that it matter) that drove the car everyday like she was racing on the Autobahn.

03 Touring AT with 49,500 miles that is currently put away for the winter. Completely stock except for some slight, visual modifications that I'm still working on, no performance mods.
Bought it with 44,900 (1-owner) last March for $15,500. I have done just regular maintenance on it, and had to weld the mid-pipe flange to the muffler pipe from it rusting (almost 10 years old). Of course I've heard of no one else having this problem.
Other than that, couldn't be happier.

I have been looking for a black 350z with low mileage for a while now... I am in VA as well... 10,500 is a great deal bro grab it. If it was anywhere around me I would have grabbed it. There isnt a single black 350z within 50 miles from me o_0
I got mine about 5-6 months ago. 2003 350z Chrome Silver, 6 MT w/ 52,XXX when I got it and have put around 4-5000 miles on her and havent had a problem yet. Im about to do a dif and tranny oil change but other than that shes been great(not bad at all in the winter.) The only thing I have been wondering about mine is the window regulators that everyone say goes bad.
I haven't seen the title because i'm driving about 5 hours to get this car but i asked him if it was a clear and clean title and he said yeah. I'm pretty sure If i ask him for the VIN he'll give it to me, and if not well thats a big RED FLAG.
And for the rest of you guys that have an 03 with high miles, thats great to hear its running strong with minor problems. more hope for me haha
'03 Track w/ 62k. Bought the car w/ 18k and a twin turbo kit on the stock motor. Blew the stock motor at 28k and installed a built long block...had it tuned properly and running great since. I've only had to replace the drivers side window motor. If it's in excellent condition i would say it's a good buy.

Burke, Virginia here. 2003 Touring M/T with around 45,000 miles I believe (Had 26,000 when I bought it two years ago). It's my weekend car now, so I'm hoping to use it more often for Auto-X.
Was silver when I bought it, but got it repainted to super black. Only maintenance so far has been oil changes, fluids, and replacing tires as needed. Window motors were defective when I test drove the car, so had the dealer replace those before I bought it.
*EDIT* The only thing that has broken is the cubby door on that center console, but that was probably an error of mine when installing the aftermarket headunit (clips and things snap easily if you're careless). Also, the trunk does not open like it used to. I have to first unlock it with the key fob, hold and keep holding the release button while pulling on the trunk lid itself.
